R&D

Process R&D stands for research work related to the improvement of the productive processes or the quality of the products derived from said processes. This chapter has an interdepartmental scope and people of several organization levels are taking part in it. The work is based on study at laboratory level, pilot plant, or real plant of the necessary modifications in the processes and their running conditions to optimise their operation from diverse points of view.
