Applications

In the paper industry, Lime in form of Calcium Oxide, is used to regenerate Caustic Soda in the pulp making process.

Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (CALPREC PA) used as a filler increases sheet volume and porosity and ensures whiteness and opacity levels significantly superior to those obtained with the use of other non synthetic fillers.

Thanks to its superior optical properties, Calprec PA is particularly useful in fine papers such as bible paper and cigarette paper.
