Calcium Hydroxide is used to manufacture gelatines, as a reagent for food additives manufacturing, and to soften drinking waters.

Calcium Oxide finds a particular application in the manufacture of certain animal nutrition products, especially aimed at ruminants, in which animal feed with a high energetic yield can be obtained.

Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (especially CALPREC PA) is directly used as food additive, particularly in snacks or bakery. In the pharmaceutical industry it is used in antibiotics manufactured by fermentation and as an excipient in pharmaceutical tablets.
